OSSBuy QC Tips
Lighting and Angles
Warehouse photos are taken under bright, even lighting. Use this to your advantage by zooming in on stitching, logos, and textures. Request additional angles if the default photos do not show enough detail. Most agents are happy to snap a few extra shots.
Know Your References
Before you QC, pull up retail photos of the exact item. Compare placement of logos, proportions, and colors. Even small deviations can be meaningful. Having a reference image open makes this process much faster and more accurate.
Check Measurements
Every QC photo set should include a measurement tape on the item. Compare these numbers to the size chart you used when ordering. If the bust, length, or sole size is off by more than a centimeter, consider an exchange.
Common QC Mistakes
Rushing through QC is the number one mistake. Another is relying only on the thumbnail instead of opening full-resolution photos. Take your time, be thorough, and remember that five minutes of careful inspection can prevent weeks of regret.
